Traffic Fines & Offences

All customers are liable for all fines and court costs for traffic fines and offences.

Payment

accept cash, bank cheques and all credit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies – such as American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard / Mastercard, Visa. All credit cards must be in the name of the driver and be presented at the time of rental.

An advance charge approval is obtained for the chosen means of payment as a security. The exact deposit is determined on collection since the amount is dependent on the vehicle.

Full payment on arrival.

Fuel

All petrol to be paid in advance by the renter according to the group and engine size of the car. Petrol is non refundable.

Reservations

Cars are booked by group type. We cannot guarantee any particular make or model.

Driver’s licence

Minimum age in Cyprus is 21 and the driver has to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 3 years.

Maximum age in Cyprus is 75.

Excess

Third Party Insurance and Simple Standard Insurance C.D.W: Collision Damage Waiver with Excess (not cover damage caused to the windows, windscreen, glass, interior, personal belongings, wheels and/or tyres, the roof or undercarriage):

  • €400.00 for Groups A, A1, A2
  • €600.00 for Groups B, B1
  • €800.00 for Groups C, G, H1
  • €1000.00 for Groups C1, D, G1, H
  • €1500.00 for Group J
  • €2000.00 for Groups J1, J2, J4
  • €4000.00 for Group G2
  • €5000.00 for Groups J3, J5

If the customer wishes to have a SCDW insurance instead of the CDW insurance then there is an additional charge which he has to pay and this additional charge depends according to the car type. That is:

  • Surcharge of €7.00 per day for Groups A, A1, A2 with Excess €100.00
  • Surcharge of €9.00 per day for Groups B, B1 with Excess €150.00
  • Surcharge of €12.00 per day for Groups C, G, H1 with Excess €200.00
  • Surcharge of €12.00 per day for Groups C1, D, G1, H  with Excess €250.00
  • Surcharge of €12.00 per day for Groups J  with Excess €350.00
  • Surcharge of €25.00 per day for Groups J1, J2, J4  with Excess €500.00
  • Surcharge of €25.00 per day for Group G2, with Excess €1000.00
  • Surcharge of €25.00 per day for Group J3, J5  with Excess €2000.00

note: Insurance does not cover windscreen, tyres and oil pump.  Damage to the above can be waived at an extra charge of €2.00 per day.

GPS: €5.00 daily
Baby seat: €3.00 daily
Booster seat:  €2.00 daily
